Antoine, a Paris native, and his fiancée naturally chose the City of Lights for their engagement session. Now living in the U.S., they overlooked one small yet significant detail— the intensity of French strikes (btw I've been to my first one at 16 yo, to defend students' rights).. Unfortunately, their session coincided with a major one: a garbage collectors' and union strike. With the city lined with trash bags and public transportation at a standstill, we carried on with the shoot. However, plans had to change when a protest march blocked access to the Louvre area, forcing us to reschedule part of the session.
